At Cooley’s Comfort, our story begins with something deeper than tools and thermostats—it begins with communities, family, integrity, and a commitment to doing things the right way.

Founded with a vision to bring genuine comfort, honesty, and top-quality workmanship to Arizona homeowners and businesses, Cooley’s Comfort was built from the ground up by professionals who believed that home service should feel less like a transaction—and more like a trusted partnership or part of the Cooley’s Comfort Family.

What started as a small operation has grown into a locally respected HVAC and home performance company, proudly serving families and businesses across the Valley in 32 cities across Maricopa and parts of Pinal County communities. We’ve earned a reputation not just for doing excellent work, but for treating people right—from first call to final walkthrough.

Founder, Steven Dougherty, is a seasoned business professional who started out in the food industry owning a restaurant straight out of college. With all the equipment in a restaurant I quickly learned the importance of maintaining your HVAC & HVACR equipment and the reliability and peace of mind it can give you is beyond comforting. I have also worked for different HVAC companies. I experienced both good and bad practices driven by corporate priorities. Some companies focus on their customers, some focus on their employees, and others prioritize single transactions – just get the sale. I, we at Cooley’s Comfort focuses on our customers, employees, and giving back to the communities we serve!

We don’t sell HVAC services and products we sell Comfort and Peace of Mind.
